This project includes utilization of smartphones for monitoring water quality. Volunteers use a nitrate test strip and quantify the environmental variable using a smartphone camera. The data will be send instantly to a central server to visualize and share using a web-based interface and Iowa Water Quality Information System (IWQIS).
